Companies seem to dislike the term ‘turnaround consulting’ because it represents failure. The truth is that turnaround consulting represents success at realizing the company is going in the wrong direction. The only time the company fails is when it is not possible to do a turnaround anymore. We help companies pivot into more profitable directions where they can expand and grow. It is inevitable that companies will end up making a few mistakes; we help them correct these mistakes.
We help companies turnaround their non-profitable ventures into something that benefits them. Our specialty lies in understanding what makes a company special and what makes it tick.
Thallo WP – we help companies assess their skills and choose a new direction which utilizes the talents of the team and resources most productively.
The evolution of a consultant
Many businesses, large and small, have a huge source of great ideas that can help them improve, innovate, and grow, and yet so many of these companies never think of using this amazing corporate asset. What is this highly valuable asset? Its own people. Says Morgan Fraud, the author of The Thinking Corporation, “Given that we are all capable of contributing new ideas, the question becomes how do you successfully generate, capture, process and implement ideas?” Becoming an organization capable of answering this question can benefit in a number of ways:
Work fewer hours & make money
Attract and retain quality, high-paying customers
Retain, high-paying customers
You’ll get more done in less time
Consulting is the business of providing expert advice
The true picture of modern consulting is a lot closer to home, and you probably know someone right now making great money as a consultant. 36% of the US workforce is currently engaged in some form of independent consulting and contract work, and out of this group, nearly 20% of those working full-time are earning north of six figures.
Which method is right for you?
If you really like the done-for-you approach, you can scale an agency. You will need to hire and train lots of people, and keeping the work quality high can be a challenge. On the flip side however, finding clients who want a turnkey service is very easy
When people hear the word “consulting,” they often think of Harvard MBAs advising enterprise businesses on corporate strategy. They think that being a consultant means obtaining difficult degrees and certifications from prestigious universities in order to land a competitive job at a top consulting firm.
With the rising costs of full-time employees, more and more businesses are looking for temporary and ongoing outside help, often in the form of consultants and done-for-you services. If you are interested in starting your own consulting business, there has never been a better time to get started.
2 Crucial Tips to Get More People to Join Your Mailing List
Majority of website owners don’t realize the value of their traffic. lf you took a look at all the people using Google AdWords and similar PPC Campaigns on their pages, then you will notice how these ads will fill up their page, literally directing traffic from their site. The return is not great. It doesn’t take a genius to realize that if those advertisers will pay that much for your visitors, they must be worth more than that.
While PPC might be a suitable way to make some easy cash from your visitors, it’s far from the most effective way to generate long term profit from their traffic. Getting your traffic to opt-in to a mailing list which will then enable you to bring them back to your site again and again, promoting any products or services you have to them directly is the better option.
But how do you get them to sign up? Here are some tips on how you can get your visitors to willingly give you their contact details and the permission to e-mail them.
Offer A Valuable Gift
One sure-fire way to make people more open to giving away their details is to give them something in return. The easiest option here is to offer an e-book which works well because it’s free to copy and doesn’t require any mailing costs. If you aren’t a prolific writer then don’t worry, you can easily create an e-book by compiling a few of the articles on your website (it’s free after all) or by commissioning someone from a freelancing site or company like Resilient Life to set it up for you.
To benefit even more from this, include your brand and URL in the e-book. This way if your visitors give the book away and share it with others, it will still act as a good promotion for your site and products. You can also subtly pitch other promotions throughout the content. – again it’s okay as you’re not charging anything for it.
Note though that you should clarify that your visitors are signing up to your mailing list and not just giving you their e-mail address so you can send them the book. If you don’t first get permission to send them marketing material, you may find that they are psychologically less likely to open your messages and more likely to delete them.
Design Your Site Around Your Mailing List
Your average site with AdSense ads on it will place these incredibly prominent Ads and regularly, to get the maximum number of clicks on them. Getting people to sign up to a mailing list is no different, so if you want to maximize the number of leads your site generates, then place your sign-up’s in visible places, making sure not to overdue it. Experiment with your forms and use integrations to help keep your contacts in one place. Create a ‘funnel’ with automations, so when a subscriber signs up for a particular type of product or service, you can segment them into categories. Only giving them valuable information that they are interested in.
Ask yourself this question: what is the action you want your visitors to take when they land on your site, and what are you doing to ensure that happens?

How To Build Your Business In 4 Easy Steps
Creating a profitable business is no simple task. There are many outside factors that you need to take into consideration when building a business, competition, timing, and demand. Building a business that succeeds, requires these elements to be in your favor, backed with a solid business plan and research can lead to monumental success. Here are 5 steps to take in consideration when you’re researching how to build your business :
1. Establish What Business Your Building. What you are selling?
Your building a business and ask yourself “What are You Selling”? The answer is not as straightforward as you may believe. NIKE is in the sportswear business, but the truth is you are buying a lot more than sportswear. You’re buying an image, a feeling, the brand. Former CEO, Richard Thalheimer, would tell you he built his business for “convenience” or “innovation” before going into his industry, and sharper image is one of the most powerful brands in America. There is more that meets the eye than the product alone. Your brand is what will set you apart from your competition. Do your research when building a business!
2. Who is your target audience? Build Your Business Products To Meet Your Audience.
By understanding who you’re selling to, you will gain the insight to create content and marketing that aligns with your audience. There are certain questions you must ask yourself when building your business about your target audience.
What they do for a living?Where do they go for fun? What type of content interests them?
Are just a few questions to building a successful business. The more detailed, the better you will have success when starting a targeted campaign. Understanding your business’ audience is the key to success. Knowing the answers to these questions will help clarify your own questions, while building your business to meet your consumers’ needs.
Richard Thalheimer understood his market when he was building his business, “Sharper Image”. He understood what the people wanted and acted accordingly. Tracy Wan, who was president under Thalheimer, stated in an article in the LA Times
“Richard has the perceptive ability to figure out the things that people want most.”
3. Develop A Killer Marketing Strategy. How do you want to communicate with your audience?
This is a combination of understanding your brand and your target audience. Knowing the answer to above questions will help you decide on: Where to advertise? The voice of your brand, pricing for each demographic. For the most conversions & engagement, you must place targeted advertisements where your audience will see it. Engage with them, add auto-responders when appropriate.
4. Learn by example. “Success Leaves Clues”
Success Leaves Clues. Research how other professionals in similar industries started their business and model after them. You can still be original, but having a successful model will help accelerate your road to success. Make sure you put your model on paper with your goals, otherwise they are just fantasies.
Building a successful business requires you to focus more on just the money. Branding & Communication is crucial. Fall in love with your clientele, not your product. Your products demand may turn, & you need to be ready by constantly innovating, adding more value to the user experience and your products or services. These days they have many free/paid sites where you can stay up to date on your competition and helping you search which topics are trending. Stay Motivated, Stay Relevant, Live A Resilient Life!

These systems are continually working for you, delivering crucial and worthful information. Please see many ideas on how to do this below:
1. Communicate with consumers:
Enter business data and product information into a series of auto-responders. Messages should be informative for your consumers and should include an offer of value which the recipient can answer to. The auto-responder cycle adds value by continuing the conversation, in this case beginning the conversation, making it more meaningful.

Facebook seems to hold their own, using a familiar system your prospects are on every day to enhance the user experience. The messages can range from the “Welcome on-board” fundamentals to advanced learning. Why not originate advanced utilization streaming videos and content and load up a 7 or a ten message AR and put this Advanced Training offer to your consumers for a fee?
4. Live Support:
Set-up an autoresponder with normally Asked Questions. This resolves any queries the buyer has. Add a series of answers into your auto-responder for those FAQ. My name is Adam Rubin for those of you who do not know. I hope all is well, and everyone is staying safe. However, the show must go on for those of us able to work. This is the first article of many more to come. Today’s topic is more geared for professional growth, sharing 5 tips to increase sales. So whether you are usually a face to face based sales technique, for the time being you may have to change your strategy a little, if you really want to boost sales and increase revenue.
HOW I INCREASED SALES OVER 300% IN 1 QUARTER
My first real “Sales” job was at a high-end retail store. Within 6 months I had won “Top 10” in sales and revenue in the nation. They promoted me to General Manager, where our store flourished until the day I left. The sales training was on the job itself. Every day, people walking in are they going to buy, and how can I get them to buy more. It was all about understanding the customers wants, because people buy more of what they want than what they actually need. The second part was building rapport, while qualifying myself as an expert and them having money.
RESULT: The fact is I have had success increasing sales, especially in person. Growing two well known, High-end retail stores, different industries. in just one quarter. I led my team to grow over 300% in multiple areas, at that time and I didn’t even have the same wisdom I have today. I’ve spent years as an Insurance Broker, which first helped me gain confidence on the phone, knocking on door, handling rejection where I was able to develop strong Leadership skills.
I knew tricks & strategies, but what I didn’t know why they worked, I never really thought about it until my last mentor who has shaped Resilient Life till this day. Human Needs Psychology. Increasing sales by understanding 6 basic human needs, which people tend to drift towards two of them more so than the others. That is where you find the leverage you need. Finally answers to the big question, “why people do the things they do, buy or not buy?” I’ve spent years studying this Art Of Sales & Influence h it’s an art form because humans are complex. Different cultures & different beliefs, means different communication and buying patterns.
Your most important skill as a business owner is your “Influential Power”. Having the best product or service means nothing if you can’t get anyone to buy it, so to ensure the success of your business you must develop the ability to generate revenue.
Here Are 5 Tips Developed For Increasing Sales:
1. BUILD RAPPORT :
If there is one thing you must do authentically and first, is building rapport. There are many ways of building rapport and we will go into some of those ways in another article. However, “NLP” aka “Nero-Linguistic Programming,” use multiple physiological techniques to put your prospects/clients at ease, a familiarity. Make them your best friend by asking questions to find commonalities. This done proper, could have the prospect closing the deal for you!
2. INCREASE CLIENTELE :
There are many ways to find more clients. Look at the number of clients you had last month and stretch for 10% more this month. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. Give webinars, Guest Speak, Volunteer, be more active on social media, or write an article for your trades magazine or business journal which will establish you as an “expert” in your field. People like to buy from experts because it reduces their fear of making a bad decision. Everyone can overcome their fear of public speaking, so find the method that works best for you and do it.
3. INCREASE PRICE BY ADDING VALUE :
Add value to existing & new products/services. This will allow you to increase the cost and increase repeat sales. Anything of value that could be added to either update a Service/Product will allow you to increase the cost by at least 10%. Small changes often lead to bigger results. Only focusing on 10% increase, makes it seem less overwhelming and more attainable.
4. TAKE THE COTTON OUT OF YOUR EARS AND PUT THEM IN YOUR MOUTH:
95% of people in sales make the mistake of pitching their products/services before getting to know what your future client really wants & needs. Be broad, use questions to find out what they truly want and need before offering them a service that does not provide the right solutions. Qualify your prospect, add value that is useful, for that could turn them into raving fans and even opens the doors for referrals. Which I would rather take 10 referrals than 1 sale. Remember – nothing adds more to your credibility than a referral from a satisfied prospect.
5. MEASURE EVERYTHING :
If you don’t measure, you will not know where you need to grow. How many leads did you get last month? How many of those leads were you able to schedule an appointment with? How many were closed? Those alone can provide you with enough information to be able to predict how many you will need to get each month to continuously grow. This allows you to manage your cash flow by forecasting your sales. It also tells you how many calls are needed to increase your sales revenue. Optimize & Maximize for continuous growth.

DEVELOP WELL-ROUNDED LEADERSHIP QUALITIES THAT EMPOWER YOUR TEAM
Original Post: Team Tony
All leaders are different, and finding out what kind of leader you are can help you take your skills to the next level. Whether you’re responsible for leading a Fortune 500 company or striving to view yourself as a leader as you work to attain your personal goals, developing effective leadership qualities is absolutely essential to your success. Honing excellent leadership traits helps you surmount obstacles, take risks and find ways to live joyfully and thrive even during the most challenging times.
Many people believe that if they aren’t displaying the stereotypical leadership traits like being outspoken, they’ll never possess excellent leadership qualities. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Don’t hold yourself back thinking that the potential for leadership is something you have or don’t. Limiting beliefs of this nature keep you from your full potential and exist only in your head. When you focus on and visualize what you want to be rather than what holds you back, you harness the power of acquiring and utilizing excellent leadership attributes.
WHAT ARE LEADERSHIP QUALITIES?
There are different types of leaders. Accepting that your leadership style is unique to your set of skills, and then working to cultivate your leadership qualities, is the best way to become the leader you need to be to reach geometric success. But what are the qualities of a good leader? To answer this question, first consider what defines leadership. A dictionary definition of leadership includes being in a position of governance or control over people or an organization. A real-life leadership definition digs deeper into the nuances of what it means to be in charge. When you’re running a business, you’re leading people, and that means you must develop people skills in addition to business know-how. To be an effective leader, you must be able to consistently interact with your staff, colleagues and clients to believe in them and help achieve goals. Great leaders don’t force collaboration – they invite it. As Apple’s Steve Jobs famously said, leadership is about inspiring people to accomplish what they thought they couldn’t do, whereas management is about persuading people to do what they never wanted to do.
VITAL LEADERSHIP TRAITS
What are the qualities of a good leader? Leadership isn’t something people are born with – it’s a skill that can be cultivated over time. When you’re able to develop strong leadership traits, you’re positioned to inspire your entire team. Here are eight basic leadership qualities that everyone can refine in order to be a more productive leader:
True leaders are confident and know they can think – and act – outside the box to take their companies to the next level. They know that leadership qualities like openness, emotional agility and resourcefulness are often more important leadership traits than being able to make a sale or wow a group of investors.
How does one display the confidence necessary to be a good leader? More than half of human communication comes from nonverbal cues. Know how to set the right tone as a leader by letting your confidence show. Confident leaders win over and inspire others because everyone else wants to embody confidence, too. Practice strong non-verbal communication by standing tall, making eye contact and learning to control your fidgeting. When you appear confident – even if you don’t actually feel confident – others will be more likely to follow your lead and believe in your authority.
Have you learned how to really focus in on what you want? Those who embody strong leadership qualities keep their eye on the prize. They are very organized and plan well ahead while still remaining spontaneous enough to handle unexpected challenges. Like a grandmaster in a chess game, a good leader thinks out each strategy and understands how each of his or her actions will affect the rest of any given scenario.
Distractions can be one of your biggest business saboteurs, but those who display strong leadership traits don’t let them intrude. This is one of the key leadership strengths because, as Tony always says, where focus goes, energy flows. Limit distractions by creating an environment that is conducive to focus. For example, your office can have an open door policy between certain hours so your team can freely communicate, but make it known that you will not be as available during your “focus times.” This helps you get deeper into your work without having to deal with the many moving parts of your business.
Keep your endgame in sight by cultivating your ability to focus. Having a clear purpose allows you to not only achieve your goals, but to foster leadership among your staff as well.
Many people believe that successful business and political leaders are inherently dishonest, but great leaders treat others just as they expect to be treated – in an honest fashion. Being honest is not only one of the leadership traits that will allow you to lead your business with integrity, but it’s the only real way to make strong connections with others. Whether you’re trying to lead your business or your family, the truth is that every single person you interact with looks to your own honesty and code of ethics to set his or her own bar. Make sure each member of your team or household knows what your culture and core expectations are, and show them how much you value honesty in your everyday interactions with others through setting a valuable example. Don’t sugarcoat information, but find a way to deliver honest comments and feedback in a direct and compassionate manner.
One of the leadership qualities of truly great leaders is the sense of abundant positivity that energizes everyone around them. It’s not that they never have moments of frustration or disappointment, but that they’re able to take a positive approach to tackle challenging issues. Inspiring leaders know how to turn setbacks into successes and make a point to display optimistic leadership traits on a daily basis. Choose empowering beliefs that will propel you forward, not negative thought patterns that will weigh you down. Seeing challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles is one of the most important leadership qualities you can display to your teammates. When you practice positive thinking, it becomes your powerful cognitive habit and allows you to reassure and elevate those around you.
Every single person in a leadership role of any kind sometimes has to make difficult decisions. How you handle these decisions is one of the most important leadership qualities. The ability to be decisive can mean the difference between getting through a tough time or crisis and folding under pressure. Making these kinds of calls doesn’t always mean you will be well-loved, but when you use good judgment to make decisions, it will earn you the respect of others. Even if you make a wrong decision and need to correct it, showing decisiveness during tough times is a better leadership quality than waiting around for something to happen or letting others make the decision for you. An effective leader is one who makes the decision that is right, not the decision that is easy.
6. ABILITY TO INSPIRE
We all bring natural gifts to our careers. Discovering what your natural leadership traits are is an excellent way to inspire others to also find their own strengths. One of the secrets to wild success is honing your leadership vision and communicating it to others. Inspiration is what pushes people to plow through difficult times – and to work on achieving their goals even when times are undemanding. You define yourself with your identity, or in business, your brand. Refocus and sharpen your identity often so you will inspire those on your team.
7. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
Knowing your team’s – and your own – communication styles is one of the leadership qualities that will strengthen your business the most. Great leaders don’t just communicate information to their team – they also know how to communicate goals and their vision to get their team excited.
You can’t underestimate the power of words. The best leaders know that words transform emotions and lead to breakthroughs. Like many important leadership qualities, being an effective communicator is often more about what you don’t do than what you do. Constructive communication often means closing your mouth and opening your ears. Deep listening and asking thoughtful questions shows that you care about your employees’ contributions.
As a leader, you’re going to make mistakes. While handling them with positivity and a growth mindset is one of the key leadership qualities you must possess, you must also take responsibility for those mistakes. Blaming others, justifying your actions or pretending like mistakes never happened erodes trust among your team and will discourage them from being accountable for their own mistakes. Great leaders take more than their share of blame and less than their share of credit, which creates an organizational culture of trust and humility. When you’re accountable, you can also hold your team accountable for their actions, ultimately creating a sense of responsibility that will keep them continually striving for their personal – and your business’ – goals.
Powerful leaders have a clear sense of purpose and are able to take their teams in the right direction. Additionally, as they lead their group, they utilize strong leadership qualities to create a supportive sense of community for all who are involved. Becoming an empowering leader is about not only creating something that’s better for the group, but encouraging those around you to embrace their strong leadership traits as well.
What are the qualities of a good leader – and is empathy one of them? According to the U.S. Army, it is. As Forbes reports, the Army Field Manual on Leadership Development states emphatically and repeatedly that empathy is essential for strong leadership. As surprising as this may seem, the logic is straightforward. When you’re trying to reach someone, having empathy allows you to discern whether you’ve gotten your message across. When you’re able to see another person’s perspective, you’re able to predict the effect your words and actions will have on them. Without empathy, the reverse happens and you risk alienating the very people you’re attempting to create connections with, whether they’re your customers, employees, colleagues or competitors. Cultivating empathy is the precursor to almost every other “soft skill” required for leadership, from self-awareness to critical thinking.
Humility is one of the oft-misunderstood leadership qualities that’s actually critical for heading any type of team. As the Huffington Post reports, humility is one of the most important leadership traits, but it doesn’t mean being a doormat. Humility shapes your character so that you’re able to embrace your own weaknesses without losing confidence. From this place of self-respect, you’re receptive to others’ feedback, which opens you up to new ideas and solutions. Humility also softens you to genuine connections with other people, since humility makes you approachable. You’re able to interact with your team, customers and colleagues from a place of shared humanity, which breaks down communication barriers.
What are the qualities of a good leader, and how can you develop them? Getting to know yourself is your first step. Learn which of the six human needs drives you with Tony Robbins’ quick assessment. From there, you’re on your way to developing the leadership traits that will take your business – and your life – to the next level.
